Abstract
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a spectrum of gastrointestinal (GI)conditions that falls under two main clinical entities, ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD) [1].These are chronic, relapsing inflammatory disorders that affect children worldwide, with an increasing incidence [2]. These diseases have a powerful impact on growth and development.
