Abstract

In this chapter, we include diffusion and transport studies. All particles (atoms, ions, radicals, molecules, etc.) have a diffusion associated with their propagation rate depending on certain parameters in their environment. With Fick’s laws of diffusion, the speed of diffusion, its flux, and its propagation according to its environment are explained with formulas in this chapter. It deals with transitions and migration depending on a substance and a membrane. Permeability in transport passages, concentrations of membrane and substance, and transport equations depending on the medium are included in this chapter. Transport has its own types. In this chapter, we compile studies that exist in the literature by combining diffusion and transport. We explained that diffusion can also act as a transport depending on the conditions.
