Abstract
L-type lectin is the most famous plant lectin family, and purification of many kinds of L-type lectins were reported previously. In general, this type of lectin is a major component of the seed proteins, and it is purified from the seeds. Recently, affinity carriers immobilized with haptenic sugars are generally used for purification.
